Step 3

How do I submit my KiwiBuild application?

Create an account on the KiwiBuild website, complete your profile and upload your signed documents.

Step 4

Can I get a First Home grant or make an early KiwiSaver withdrawal?

First Home Grants

If you're a first-time home buyer, or a previous home owner and you've been making regular KiwiSaver contributions for 3 - 5 years, you may be eligible for a First Home Grant of up to $10,000. To find out if you meet the criteria for a First Home grant talk to one of our Agents or Brokers or visit the Kāinga Ora website.

KiwiSaver First Home Withdrawal

If you have been a member of KiwiSaver for at least three years, you may be able to withdraw all, or part, of your savings to put towards buying your first home. If you are a previous home owner, Kāinga Ora will initially need to determine whether you are deemed to be in the same financial position as a first home buyer.
